Capcom on Twitter: "We are aware of the server issues that are affecting the online functionality of SFV, and are working towards a quick resolution."

Street Fighter 5 launched in 2016, and is widely considered a misstep for the hugely popular franchise. This article explains why that is.
Every Street Fighter is called a misstep of the series since Street Fighter III..and even the Alpha games were not liked by everyone.
SF V had a miserable start but later it did a lot things actually better than SFIV and SF6.
SF6 is the first SF since SFII Turbo for that I did not buy at launch. And today, around 6 months after its launch I still have no motivation to buy it.
I grew out of fighting games, loved them as a kid but online you just get your ass kicked over and over leaving just the bare bones single player and also having no friends anymore who like fighting games either just makes me not want to buy or play them anymore.

Street Fighter documentary 'Here Comes a New Challenger' is now available for all, following a successful crowd funding campaign.

Round One: FIGHT!!
im on......
Someone please clarify.. Has this game not got the player vs cpu mode? This will affect my buying decision
If not why would capcom not wait and release the game in its entirety.. Freaking stupid move
Wow...not good news. The error message "2100d" is what many people get on screen when they can't connect to the server.
And some even get this message when trying to log into the server.

"Ready to launch in approximately more than 1 year" to wait to log into the server. WTH!#?
This is like the first beta all over again. :/
Hope this get fixed soon.
Wow servers are down on top of everything else. RIP sf you were good to us last generation but capcom and sony absolutely destroyed you.
It was almost 1am before I got on for the first time to create my CFN username. From there it's been off-on-off-on-off-on.
The worse part about it all, is you can't even earn FM/EXP unless you are connected to CFN servers while playing. So, whenever CFN servers go down in the future, you're just grinding away with no gains FM/EXP. It should still allow you to earn FM/EXP, then just sync back up and upload that data when you log back into CFN.
Also, it takes years sometimes inbetween story mode matches to save/load, I assume it's to save your FM/EXP data back to CFN servers. It's ridiculous how long it takes though.
I just gave up and turned it off for the night when it logged me out yet again, after the first story match with Chun Li. It's just too much, I'll try again sometime tomorrow.
