Twinfinite: Firewatch doesn’t have any dazzling gameplay mechanics. There are no fancy guns, no bad-ass cutscenes, and no groundbreaking AI by your side to keep you company, yet I came away from Firewatch caring more about its characters and their backstories than in any other game I’ve played in quite a while.

It's OK to hate on Gone Home around these parts but to say something negative about this game, which is basically just a glorified Gone Home, is sacrilege.
This game was short, had very little to actually do, very little game mechanics, bait and switch story from start to finish, a horrible ending, and hardly any exploration outside the main story.
It's Gone Home all over again is all. Give it a few months after the hype (which exists for whatever reason) dies down and it'll become just another walking simulator with a #2DEEP4U story that is more accurately just a waste of time.
