The devil may just cry when he learns of Bayonetta. Among a handful of newly announced titles coming from Platinum Games and publisher SEGA, this over-the-top action game takes all of the elements of contemporary action games and kicks it up to an entirely different level. A campy premise isn't the only thing worth a raised eyebrow in this bizarre brawler; in fact, the game strikes a downright unusual flavor with its combat mechanics. That, however, doesn't keep the action from being fast, furious, and fluid.

I could definitely see a Bayonetta/Dante game. Imagine them initially battling each other before eventually teaming up to take on the big baddies. Now, imagine what their child(ren) would be like.
Bayonetta and Dante I could see but even then with how their lore differs it's a hard sell. For the others...I just can't see it at all.

Bayonetta is a witch who enter contracts with demons for power and Dante is a demon, not really hard to connect.
They could even write in an alliance between the umbra witches and sparda.
On the surface yeah but the actual lore the two games have given us if you go into it...not so much.

Major is definitely one of my all time favourite anime characters so this is really sad
