"Bringing Bill Nye out for a commercial is a pretty great move by anyones standards. Does that mean Origin Access will be a great new way to play PC games? Will they be bold enough to take down the big titan that is Steam?"

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."

Lol I have a better chance of winning the Powerball. Few games to choose from, small portion of the game unlocked and a tiny discount won't even put a dent in Steam.
Yeah Steam still has too much of a hold on the PC market for Origin to even really do anything. It's going to stay that way for a long time. Nobody I know even uses Origin because Steam is just the go to and people trust Valve more than EA.
Whats origin? No seriously, how does that even work mathematically? Taking down steam I mean. How does one do that?
Nope I hate origins so much if a multiplatform game requires it, I buy it for console instead if I want to play it. Steam is king baby, get at least a 1000 more games in your library and then we talk
Isn't Origin only for EA games? I don't see EA alone beating every other publisher, no chance in hell.
