Ned Luke, the actor who portrays Michael De Santa in Grand Theft Auto V, has stated that has no knowledge of any single player DLC for the game.

Take-Two Interactive revealed it is pausing development on its Nintendo Switch 2 edition of "Borderlands 4" in its latest quarterly earnings.

O'Dell Harmon Jr. writes: "Before we say goodbye to 2025, let’s take a look back and see what were the most downloaded games of the year. It was a great time for sports, shooters, and some new PlayStation VR2 games. Sports favorites topped the charts in US/Canada and EU, with NBA 2K26 and EA Sports FC26, respectively.
Juggernaut GTA V found a home in the top three for both regions, with new 2025 release Battlefield 6 claiming second place in the US. Fortnite took top place for free-to-play games, and Beat Saber continues its PS VR2 success."
It’s funny to watch the only games EU and USA agree on was Minecraft and back ops 7 both regions on 6 and 7 spot respectively other than that FIFA rules EU
I would like to see a list that has both free to play and paid games together, but at least we have this.
To this day GTA5 is a top downloaded game and it makes me wonder if the industry is really ready for GTA6. I imagine almost nothing else will sell during that game's release window.

Another night of Fortnite with the boys then?
I’ve never played Fortnite GTAV or CoD BO7 but I do own GTAV for PS4/5 because I got them cheap.
i think we should either take those games out, or make a singleplayer list too ha
I doubt he would be allowed to say anything if SP DLC was in the works. Personally, I don't think R* are working on SP DLC at all. They've seen the money that cash cards make and are focusing on online content instead.
It's a shame really, because I'd love SP DLC. Hopefully they do release some.
I know that still alot of players play Online. I never have trouble finding a match (even though I haven't tried since the first week of the big "Heists" update last year). But this ship has already sailed. Rockstars main focus is future projects and Onine for GTAV.
Lets just say they did release single player DLC, I would play it of course. It have to be free since all DLC for them is free. Can't change that up.
Okay I'm just gonna flat out and say it. If single player DLC was released, it would drag me back into playing GTAV again. If not............I guess I just download the updates for Online when I fire up the PS4 and keep doing what I have been doing for nine plus months now. Playing something else.
In GTAV defense though I have been occupied with:
- Bloodborne
- The Witcher 3
- Assassin's Creed: Syndicate
- Cod: Black Ops 3
- Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
- Rise of The Tomb Raider
- The Order 1886
- Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection
- Dying Light
Soon to be:
- Dark Souls 3
- Uncharted 4
To me, which I know I'm not the only one who thinks this, but the game will be three years old in September. Thats a long stretch without any single player DLC but it was still a good game. I had alot of time in this game for the last two plus years, but there is always a time to move on.
If your still upset about no single player DLC think of it like this:
How much time did you have playing Watch Dogs?
Now take how much time you had playing GTAV........
Not even close, for me atleast.
It's a shame to see no single player DLC, they've made this awesome world with plenty of the locations still un-used in the main story and side missions, and all these interesting, funny characters with stories to tell. It's been so long though I'm looking forward to the next game rather than DLC. Still a fantastic game.
I wonder if story DLC is possible via modding on the PC, I think even something that was an hour long with a nice story and maybe even some voice acting would get a ton of downloads. This kind of project seems like the perfect way for a small mod team to get noticed.
Doesn't seem likely to be any single player DLC if the next GTA is coming out in 2018 to maintain their 5 year cycle
