Luckey: 'several' Oculus-Funded Titles Feature SteamVR Support

VRFocus reports on Oculus VR's Palmer Luckey confirming that several virtual reality titles funded by Oculus VR will also support SteamVR.

That's a good thing. The less fragmented the user base the better it is for VR.

Hopefully, there won't be too many Oculus and HTC exclusives.

Let people pick the hardware they want but let everyone enjoy all the games. Also provides a bigger consumer base for devs which ultimately means more games for everyone and a better chance for big devs to get on board.

agreed, I have an Oculus preorder.. I would hate to be locked out of any Steam based titles because of that choice.

The more open these things are, the better chances we have of VR succeeding.
