Was it a love of P.T and Silent Hills that lead to the development of the game Allison Road?

It's important in life to maintain a broad palette when it comes to culture and the arts. Hideo Kojima agrees, as he continues to use video games like Death Stranding to introduce people to music and other elements they might not otherwise discover.

GDC has revealed a Keynote speech by Hideo Kojima is scheduled.

The Wachowskis once approached Hideo Kojima to make a Matrix game in the late '90s, but were reportedly shut down by one of the company's higher ups, according to a former vice president of licensing at Konami Digital Entertainment.
Layer of fear should be in this conversation :)
"Who needs Silent Hills?"
Really?
Silent Hill is still one of my favorite franchises regardless of how stupid Konami is. Silent Hill 1-3 were some of the best horror games out there. I still enjoyed a couple of the spin offs, but nowhere near the first three.
"With SOMA and Alien: Isolation, we’re seeing a shift to the more implicit kind of horror. Do you think horror games will grow to a similar maturity in the way that the genre did within films, and end up with this scope with everything from gore/body to more cerebral horror?"
Where was this guy during the first Silent Hill games? I mean those both are great games (I own and love them both.) don't get me wrong but let's not act like they are pioneers.
No need to call "sour grapes" on Konami's blunder either. Will Allison Road deliver more content than the original Silent Hill games. Will this game deliver the originality Akira Yamaoka delivered in his music? Do the creatures rival Masahiro Ito's artwork which not only terrify but deliver backstory on a character's insecurities in life? With a headline like that, it better......
Don't get me wrong though, I will pick up AR as soon as it releases.
I do.
