Watching movies in VR would be incredible. There's nothing to distract you or break immersion.
I adored the eye-toy. What a great piece of equipment. Although the Kinect etc. do differ from VR. The Kinect and eye-toy had its uses but felt like a novelty. I don't think VR will be this way if presented correctly! Interesting next few years ahead!
So many applications. Instead of having to visit a factory you take a full vr render it and visit it from your desk. You will be able to make adjustments to the render thay the engineers can mimic in real life. So many applications. The scary part will be when scientists will be able to matrix the brain a la minority report and you can experience touch as well
