A question for those who plays Ark on Xbox One: How's the performance of the game? I'm thinking about buying it, but i'm very aware of the unfinished project that it is. I mean, the last Preview game i'd downloaded crashed my console 3 times in a row.
The past couple weeks there have been some performance issues for the PC version. They've been messing with seek-free packages and re-serializing all objects and it's causing a very frustrating lag spike every 15 minutes where the server is saving progress. I personally believe they're running too many instances per server.
Other than that, I typically get 30-50fps with most settings on Epic and shadows on medium and sky/ground clutter at 40%. Its a beautiful game overall. But definitely does need more work to get it where it needs to be.
