Marcus Estrada writes: "Many of us first heard of this strange new virtual reality device when startup company Oculus launched a Kickstarter campaign back in 2012. The concept of VR had certainly been tried before in gaming via a variety of head-mounted displays (HMDs), but none had ever drawn enough attention to stick around. For most gamers in particular, we simply had memories (or knowledge of) the failed Virtual Boy by Nintendo. Despite these hesitations, the Oculus Rift proved immensely appealing. It overcame the $250,000 funding goal in just a day and ended up generating millions by the campaign’s conclusion. Yep, people really wanted their hands on the very first development kits.

Zombie Army VR is creeping onto VR headsets later this month, and here's everything you need to know about Rebellion's latest.

Morels: Homestead, a relaxing game in which you can create your own unique homestead, is available now for PC VR.

Electronic Arts has confirmed that while F1 23 will support PC VR it will not support PSVR 2 on PlayStation 5.
That's fine. GT7 would overshadow it anyway at it has open wheel and regular cars.
Should have been spending their time updating Squadrons with better resolution, frame rate, haptics, etc as there isn't a game like that on PS VR 2 yet.
But it's EA. They don't think.
A wasted opportunity, but I don't buy EA / Codemasters stuff anyway. Grid Legends just came out on Plus and I haven't touched it. Why would I when I have GT7 and PSVR2?
So expensive, but I'm super tempted. After I upgrade my computer.
Quote from article: "Facebook bought Oculus for $2 million."
That's $2 billion - big difference.

I tried messed around with the dev kit last new years eve and I was really impressed. OR really shines in games where the user is in a stationary position like racing or flight sims, top down racers, or platformers. It still has a way to go in regards to first person shooters IMO. Prices for new technology have always been high ( CDs anyone?).
We know VR is in its infancy and can only grow from here.
WE ARE VR.
