Mick Fraser: "Early access is a bit of a strange concept. It’s essentially allowing you to play a game while it’s still in development, to explore an evolving gamescape that’s entirely subject to change. Sometimes it produces surprisingly coherent experiences. Elite: Dangerous, for example, is a solid space sim with a huge universe full of possibilities. There’s a way to go until it can be called a “full” experience, but it’s perfectly playable as it is.
Ark: Survival Evolved is, if I’m honest, closer to the other end of the spectrum. It’s in no way unplayable, but there’s a definite sense that it’s simply not finished. The main game mode is multiplayer, but you can choose between PvE or PvP severs, or a mixture of both. Getting in isn’t easy, and I regularly struggle to find a room that isn’t already at capacity."
Ark Aquatica is the first official DLC to tell a non-canonical mythical story, expanding the ARK universe into new dimensions of survival.

Speaking with Game Rant, Ark director Jeremy Stieglitz outlines the approaches taken to adapting the game's plot for the animated series.

Studio Wildcard has launched a 'major' update for ARK: Survival Evolved's modding software, ARK Development Kit, available now.
Game is great and works smooth on XO. I'm actually amazed at some effects, especially fur that reacts to wind and lighting effects. I've played it a bit on PC before but didn't get really into it. Now me and my friends can't stop playing! No other game got me so addicted in years.
As for article, you got some things wrong in there which makes me think...did you even play the game? "but you can choose between PvE or PvP severs, or a mixture of both." There is no PVP, PVE and mix of both...PVP IS the mix of both.
Honestly, if he didn't play it on a server with other people, and give himself a chance to join up with a tribe of people, he barely even played the game. Single player is fun, but it isn't the way its supposed to be.
I've been looking to check this one out, but been putting it off. Maybe I'll check it out now and see if some friends will join me.
i bought it during the steam sale, but it ran like crap on my computer so i got a refund, maybe when i get a better processor or the game gets better optimization.. til then no dinosaurs for me :/
