I'm leaning towards buying this but I could care less about how it looks. Ig how it feels on your head is important. But my main factors on buying this are primarily games, then pricing.

Omg if they announce MLB The Show with VR support id go crazy!!!!! Imagine being in the dugout and lookin around with VR and actually feeling like your in the game!!!!!!!

Still just wanting to wait and see how this pans out before i get one. would LOVE a way to try it out somehow. That being said, if No Mans Sky is announced for VR i'm sold.

Crossing fingers for the price to be under $400, preferably 350 with everything needed (excluding ps4).

Also, they have the chance to create a "wii" effect with this device, getting in casuals through fun party esque games similar to what Nintendo did and "wow"ing them through something they never experienced before. The fact that PSVR is the only VR headset primarily targeting the living room puts it at a major advantage over the other headsets.

100% getting , v.r + thrusmaster wheel , turismo.... For that alone , but that's just one experience cannot wait.

Everyone who tries it says that.. I cant wait to dive in when it releases.. All the games plus this & im going to be one broke mofo this year.. Eggs, ramen, & bread for food.. I will be living like a poor hermit to support my habit lol.. Now if i could only find a way to be off work for a few months smh

Really exited for VR! The price will be relatively high I am afraid. But... as long as enough normal games are compatible with the head set, I am going to jump on this ship. If i can only play VR games this will end like the kinect.

A gimmick you say. No. I don't believe it is, for one thing, Sony isn't the only one backing this tech. The sort of competition I see rising from HTC, Occulus and others will only help the tech grow and establish itself.

You could tell whoever you see enjoying an immersive VR experience, that it's bunk. That it'll never amount to anything.

The video game industry didn't suddenly turn into a billion overnight, foundations had to be laid with home consoles & pc games from the 70's. Trust me, VR will proliferate just as video games have. We'll see them combined together to form something truly special.

It's a pretty techy/sci-fi looking device.May buy this years later if it's still doing well & it's much cheaper.Don't have a interest in it as of now,just looking forward to the regular big games being released this year.

Oculus Rift was just announced at 600 dollars! That's a lot for an unproven gimmick. Most people haven’t even been able to test it out or know what games will be available for it, but please take all my money, lol.

No matter how amazing it looks and feels. At the end of the day it's how much fun the games are to play. Are the games any good? It's like amazing graphics. Once you get passed the, oooh's and aaah's. It's up to game play to keep you interested.

With Motion Controls all working in a VR environment, and gamers thought PlayStation Move was just a flop. Seems other VR HMD companies wanted a motion control system that works like the playstation Move in a VR environment.

It will be a good thing , because porting a VR game to any of the VR HMD's will be that much more viable since all will be using a method of tracking a motion control system to work with their VR device.

VR is not a fad no matter how many seem to think it may be, smartphone hardware is a very blunt entry point into VR & it only requires consumer to invest very little to experience VR. Software downloaded to a existing smartphone & a VR housing as cheap an in try point of $20.00

Thus even as a Entry point level VR its still better than many VR headsets of the 90's that cost well over $400.00

From performance to actual VR games & Application support.

VR is viable now because the entry into VR is cheap enough to get started already on a mass market level for Entry level VR.

Anyone who wears glasses try this yet? Interested in how it'll feel if you're someone with glasses.

Tired of people playing down VR without experiencing it for themselves first. Whatever you think it feels like, it's wrong. Trying it is the only way to make sure if it's right for you.

Oculus Rift €699,i think Zuckerberg INC lost his marbles. (on top of GTX970 minimum) I have said this before and it starts to look this way,VR becomes a thing on consoles,NOT PC.
