A look at the release plan for Shadow Jago, Killer Instinct's newest edition and why this situation is troubling for players and consumers.

Killer Instinct is like the forgotten cousin at the fighting game family reunion.
I loved this game in the arcade, my main was Jago, Ultra Combo!!! https://www.youtube.com/wat...
I remember trying my hardest to learn that "Ultra... Ultra.... Ultra...." finish. Such a great fighting game.
Exciting news, Combo Breakers: Killer Instinct Anniversary Edition will be available TOMORROW, November 28, at 12PM Pacific!

This is how you support your first party games! Continued support after 10 years!
The Killer Instinct fans appreciated and the whole FG community celebrates!
Congrats goes to Matt, Mick, Adam and everyone at Iron Galaxy!
Tomorrow we fight together! I can´t wait!
I love KI (still play the old arcade version) but feel like the Xbox version is like a big intimidating chessboard with no easy way to instruct you to play chess.
The game is so deep in terms of little things to do that it makes Smash Bros melee look like a casual experience.
Honestly, doing a combo Breaker is punish/reward by itself but hey you can add a counterbreaker.
Here's what you also need to know
Breaking Shadow-linker
Instincts
Shadow counter
Auto double,
linker, manual
ender
etc,

Iron Galaxy is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Killer Instinct by launching a new Anniversary Edition for Xbox and PC and an extensive patch several years after the latest update.
There isn't going to be any chance of this being played at tournaments unless it appears on all platforms like all fighting games.
See where he's coming with it being bundled but considering that up till now it wasn't available to anyone past the 12 month xbl then that is a small price to pay. Remember looking for codes back when xbox came out they were pushing 50 so 10 bucks is fair imo.
This is a tricky subject that MS and Iron Galaxy have to swallow. For anyone who is unaware Shadow Jago has limited availability because they way he was initially sold was with the Day One Xbox Live Gold. But the packaging and their press releases basically said that Shadow Jago would only ever be available with that Day One Gold code.
Making Shago widely available to purchase would technically make those statements and packaging false advertising. And would make MS liable for a lawsuit for anyone who wanted to press the case. Technically Shadow Jago is available right now but in legal terms he's the addition to the bundle and not technically being sold if you get the drift.
Honestly I feel MS needs to bite the bullet on this one and sell Shago individually. Iron Galaxy has stated that any tournament that does not have Shago will be given the codes upon request so that he is available for tournament play.
Already have the character previously but $10 seems kind of much for a single character..but it it does come with extra points and accessories. Still, it would be nice if MS can sell it at a vanilla DLC of $5.
Always get racked by him online.
