Why couldn't we have just had a straight forward Kojima horror game...like you know, a full P.T like game, Silent Hills but made into a new IP.
I would have honestly sacrificed Death Stranding 2 for the P.T horror game at this point so he could still to Physint
I thought that was what we were going to get, I'm very disappointed, I hope they don't charge out the ass for this game if it's episodic, maybe I'll wait for an OD collection unless the game is bad.
I really thought we were going to get a spiritual successor to P.T.
1st September, 2025 – KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS today announced Beyond The Strand, a celebration of 10 years of KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS. Hosted by Hideo Kojima, the celebratory event will include special guest appearances as well as offer a glimpse into future projects. Beyond The Strand will take place at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills, Tokyo, Japan, on Tuesday, 23rd September, 2025.
Kojima Productions confirmed that they have full ownership of the Death Stranding IP now, and they will bring the game to more platforms.

It’s available on PS+ and never bothered to even press the view button.. this game tells me absolutely nothing and looks too boring to my taste.
Same here. I do have respect for Kojima and his passion for making games but Death Stranding is boring imo. I won't buy Death Stranding 2.
I liked the setting. Beautiful game. Started playing 3 times, twice on PC and once on the PS5, but never got halfway past the story. Was a bit reprtetive.
After all the really weird trailers (I still don’t understand what the black goo is about, or the baby) but I read something from someone who said it’s a good game but becomes great after 100 hours which was the thing that made me know it’s just never gonna be a game I’d enjoy. I’m pretty sure 100 hours is not far off my total gaming for a year

I have to admit, that I'm surprised by this, but the more people who can play, the better. Xbox gamers, give it a chance if you don't mind walking through a massive map in mostly solitude, and also keep in mind, that late into the game, it becomes an zipline simulator!

That's very plausible in my opinion. The importance of ownership must've been very clear to him after his departure from Konami.
My money is that it was a sweetener when they approached him for ds2 and psyops exclusivity or timed exclusivity
I'm wondering if this means the Strand system patent gets transferred to KojiPro. Sony never should have patented it to begin with when it was KojiPro's invention.

Great now i can't see that logo the same anymore.... I really liked this logo it felt like it had a strong meaning, they were going to go all out and had balls, now all i see is a f$&@ing chicken.... Thanks alot -_-
