5 Cool Features Fallout 4 is Missing

GameRant:

The world of Fallout 4 is chock-full of amazing sidestories and countless Easter Eggs, but now that the honeymoon period is over, we’ve acknowledged a few this Fallout 4 was missing. These features have all been in the series at one point or another, and their inclusion would have ultimately helped rocket the game to an even higher reception, although it evidently fared perfectly fine without their inclusion.

A lot of settlement features are missing. I mean there is a lot of stuff within Fallout 4 that you can't craft.

Not to mention getting things joint together or even levelled is annoying as hell. I don't see why some of the settlements chosen don't have flat grounds to build on...even if you could remove the rubble and dead tree branches that would be a start

I agree...however, the way around it is usually placing 2-4 floor panels down. Plus, if you're in sanctuary, you can clear out 4-5 houses of rubble and you'll have plenty of space to rebuild your own buildings.

I actually built a house for myself, a house for Piper, then a separate house to hold all of my power armor suits. I'm at like 9 suits now! >_<

I've done something similar but some of the things still float around. It's annoying. I don't see why they didn't just allow us to re-build and fix the homes already in sanctuary and allow us to upgrade them with defences if we wanted.

They should have even build the neighbourhood so you could put a good, equal length fence around it.

You can never have too much Power Armor!

As for building at Sanctuary, I am of two minds. While the practical side of me thinks that rebuilding what was still standing would have been a logical place to start, many of them already fell down and they don't really fit the "wasteland" look of old metal and wood thrown together. For me, I just really didn't build much at Sanctuary and used other settlements like the Red Rocket and The Castle for my main builds.

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
