Destructoid:
Nintendo is constantly adding new things to Super Mario Maker, and now three new course tools are coming to the game as a free update. You can get the bumper by shaking a grinder (the spike wheel), doors can be turned into warp doors (enacted by a P-switch), and the Koopa Clown Car now has a fire variation.

Super Mario Maker's last level has been beaten, after Trimming the Herbs was revealed to be totally bogus.

Super Mario Maker has been a great series for Nintendo, but it is time to move on. How about a Metroid Maker? That would be interesting! Check out Jason Capo’s thoughts for more.
I'd go either for Metroid Maker a Zelda Maker would also be great even a Mario Kart Maker as well.

Nintendo has announced that as of Jan. 12, 2021, the original Super Mario Maker game for the Wii U will not be available for purchase on the eShop.
I mean there is a sequel available. My guess is Nintendo will want you to move towards a more current version.
These are great additions to the game, I'm really glad they're updating it like this. If they continue to support it like Splatoon then they'll keep me coming back for years.
Only issue I can see is with the P door potentially making a lot of levels unbeatable if you miss your shot, but I guess that could already happen with a path made of coins of something.
These are cool but, they need more level theme options like day/night winter/desert/jungle/beach themes
Also give us more music options like the athletic themes from SM3,World, NSMB U
