Fallout 4 – Don’t Throw Out Those Vault-Tec Lunchboxes

Throwing out certain scrap in Fallout 4 is a sin, so the next time you see a Vault-Tec Lunchbox please keep it, they come in handy.

Huh I'm glad I kept about 10 of them. Didn't even think to make bottlecap mines.

I've got a bunch of lunchboxes. Is the only use-case for them to make bottlecap mines? If so, i'll just keep them on the shelf in my settlement like I've been doing. I don't really use mines at all and just end up selling them.

bottlecap mines are among the most powerful weapons in the game. really handy when up against large strong enemies where you can place them and theyll walk straight into the trap.

I get that, but my guns are more fun :)
They're serving better purpose for me as decorations and will stay that way, I suppose.

I love collecting the little blue rocket ships. I haven't found a use for them though.

Do you mean the Nuka Cola Quantum bottles? Cause they make great display pieces :-) on my PS I got 3 set on a bar complete with beer and wine and a Nuka machine with 3 inside.

metalgod883806d ago

Haha yes, those things. They just look awesome. I've only found a couple, but I have them on display as well. It makes me sad when I'm watching someone else play on youtube and they just completely ignore them.

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

mastershredder189d ago

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
