At this point it is time to look forward and leave the past in our old consoles, because getting tired of some companies bleeding funds out of our pockets for little tweaks in old games. Time for more creative content and new ideas. At least thats how some of us feel. Enjoy the read.

All available May 5.
I think the only game here for me is Nine Sols. Was always interested in that game.
Good month for me, I wanted that particular footy game and thought it might be due. Anyway who cares, shame about the site I'll miss the comment sections. All the best everyone.
Naughty Dog was reportedly divided on the controversial fate of Joel in The Last of Us Part 2 during the game's development.
I think it was good decision, if he was still alive, he would have been a mascot just like Kratos, drake and many others. These old dudes gotta die for new characters to take center stage with their own storyline. They keep dragging the emotional baggage into many sequels and eventually the story just turns into absolute shit show.
Honestly as much as I loved the game, they could have just not killed him off.
I get it creator vision and all but killing a character that made you millions is just wrong imo. At least have him go down fighting.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
Keep my backwards compatibility?
I wish I had some backwards compatibility to keep at all.
Stop & think people.
When Sony released the PS3 it was expensive because of a few point of technology included by hardware & Software that also had to be included.
PS 2 Emotion Engine + software later when The Emotion Engine being removed was one of the things that made backward compatibility expensive along with license costs when the Emotion Engine chip was removed.
The Software backward compatibility was written and coded for what type of system processor?
That's right the freaking CellBE system chip inside the PS3.
That means Sony would have to again reprogram a backward compatibility suite of software now written for a new processor.
And on top pay out further licensed playstation 2 gaming IP rights that they may not have legal rights too.
Thus no matter how you look at it , again Sony had to again.
Start from scratch
Pay out new licensed IP rights again even for the same game, because there is no Emotion Engine PS2 chip inside the PS4.
So again when people say..but..but its free for PC, why not Sony.
Because the people making said backward compatibility Emulation programs.
Do not have to pay any license
Do not have or required to get any permission to do such. While Sony does
So if Sony has to start over & they do instead of giving the gamer backward compatibility that offers really nothing new Sony is offering.
Increased resolution
Remote play
Trophy support
Share play.
If you want backward compatibility, play the multiplatform disc based PlayStation 2 games on a PS2, PS3 with physical Emotion Engine chip. Or PS3 with software backwards compatibility. Or play it on PC with a Dulal layer DVD ROM drive.
Sony is only offering their IP holders of said PS2 games another option to sell "their" software like for example Rockstar Games already does with San Andreas GTA on the App store on Google Play or Apple's iOS

PS2 emulation on PS4 is a complete joke as they won't allow discs or downloads. Might as well fully remaster it if they are gonna half ass the emulation. Sony really have a nerve asking which games people want backward compatible as the whole point of backwards compatibility is using your discs. I'm getting sick of Sony's arrogance and no way i'm falling for the PS5 hype train this time as Sony have showed their true colors.
Do you think Sony makes the playstation Emotion Engine chip anymore?
That is a big fat No.
Which means Backwards compatibility has to be done completely in software. Thus Sony has to pay out licensed rights just to be allowed to run a game of PS2 or PS1 discs.
That means Sony has to make an agreement with who ever "created" the work. Also the artist's works and royalty shares of said IP rights. Many workers in the PS2 era may not even be At Sony anymore esp. In Japan
Its not as easy to ignore property rights like PC Emulator home programs programmer does.
He does not have to ask permission or request from the IP holder or has to share royalty shares with artists, and sound tech's for their created works.
Why do you think many people in the music industry make Christmas based music every year. Its sure fire way to get revenue for the artist every Holliday's events, air time specials. Etc.
Its not clear cut as said
