Fire Emblem has enjoyed something of a revival in the last few years. Fire Emblem: Awakening was really the big turning point, and it's no exaggeration to say its largescale success literally saved the series. This was somewhat reflected most recently in Smash 4, where Fire Emblem graduated to having five characters on the roster. It seems that Masahiro Sakurai is a big fan of the series, and he recently contributed a piece to the Fire Emblem 25th anniversary book with some information on how the series influenced and related to the Smash Bros. games.

Console Creatures writes, "We're looking at our top 10 Fire Emblem games worth playing through."
I have only played #1 Three Houses and #2 Path of Radiance, both are so good. I should try more FE games

Nintendo allegedly let Masahiro Sakurai work on his passion project, Kirby Air Riders, in order to convince him to direct another Smash Bros.
wow ha.
hes literally the creator of Kirby and responsible for one of the biggest fighter games we have, amd nintendo is like "oh ... well if u wanna make a new Kirby game, u need to make a new smash too"
i can see it ha.
Game developer Hideki Kamiya talks about Bayonetta in the Smash Bros. games.
I hope they make a path of radience remaster that is my favorite out of the series a lot of memories with that game.
Why does the title say 25th? but the picture says 20th?
