My name is Sage, and it's been my pleasure to guide the Sandbox for Destiny. At Bungie, we define the player "Sandbox" as anything the player directly interacts with. So Weapons, Subclasses, Abilities, Armor, Exotics, Vehicles, etc. If it feels good to move and shoot, ("Sweet!") that’s us. If it's totally broken or un-balanced, ("Boo!") that’s also us. We want the game to be amazing just as much as you do.

Destiny 2 x Star Wars collaboration is here! Get exclusive gear, cosmetics, and accessories when Heresy launches on February 4th. Don’t miss it!

The long-rumoured Destiny Mobile game from NetEase may finally be ready for reveal according to multiple leakers.
Phil Spencer talks candidly about missing out on both Destiny and Guitar Hero
So you're saying that Microsoft has missed out on so many huge gaming franchise in the last 25 years from GTA exclusivity to guitar hero and destiny it's just laughable they had so many misses
Best deal deal in gaming must be when Sony bought Insomniac for 229 million dollars. They made over 800 millions on Spiderman for the ps4 alone. Thats just crazy!
another Interview?
how is he the only one who loves the spotlight as much as he does lol
Let's not forget he also famously passed on Spider-man, Genshin Impact and GTA3.
However it's almost kind of cute how he can keep that sh1t-eating grin and say he's a 'no regrets' kind of guy, especially when you think how much just these 5 titles could have swung the world in Xbox's favour instead of Sonys.
How he's kept his job I don't know, he must sure be keeping Papa Nadella's shaft warm somehow.
"But, but Gamepass, he introduced that!!!"
Yes he did, and now look at Xbox, all it's exclusives are coming to Playstation now rendering the platform obsolete.
They really screwed up Destiny for me with the constant weapon nerfs. I haven't touched it after I beat the Taken King, which by the way wasn't that great. That's just my own opinion.
Micro-transactions expanding? I wouldn't be surprised at all.
This means nothing. It means bigger than the festival or the sparrow racing. Not sure about this non-dlc microtransactions content...
Most will disagree, but I'd rather pay $10-15/ month for constant updates and large patches, raids, etc. Events are great but they are usually free 5 x a yr in most mmo's as an added bonus.
Honestly, I'd prefer Destiny 2 to be free w the option to sub for $15/month. Those who do get silver to spend and a 10% xp bonus. This way, those who play 200 hrs a month can sub, and casuals can just play, Mayne contributing by buying some cosmetic items.
Also, the free price tag on the base game will entice many to come back who were burned by launch. Who can complain about $15/month if they play 20+ hrs a week and want top notch content every 2-3 months?
Honestly, everyone hates buying dlc, hates microtransactions, hates subs, and hates not having new content...what to do?
