I am enjoying the hell out of this game, and I was on the fence about it. Finally caved in and I love it, what I don't love is my team. I swear they have no sense of awareness and often run into my shots because apparently....they don't realize there is FF, and they often get mad at me for shooting them in the back.

Or the fact that they rush in..hoping that maybe this time it'll be like cod and we lose...

Do not play this game without friends who understand what Tactical means..Seriously if you play in a random lobby there will be at least one moron who doesn't understand why they even got the game.

I disagree big time. I'm on X1 (cant imagine its much different elsewhere). Seems like every game I play people are generally doing exactly what they should be. Moving in together, setting up logical defensive positions, generally playing properly. Quite impressive actually. When at least 1 person has a mic and can call a team leader is even better. I've only had one match where I've dealt with a teamkiller, and a couple where one of the defensive players was wandering outside the intended defensive position, but otherwise the game is played with surprising adherence to the developers intentions for it.

cant expect everyone to play perfectly, and occasionally someone will step in front of my shotgun blast and eat a facefull of lead... but these things happen.

I love this game.

I'd be interested in finding out if this is a problem mainly on consoles, or if PC players deal with this shit as well

I remember the good ol days when shooters took skill and actual thought process..... Ohhhh socom why must you be dead..... The game that started mlg and competitive gaming on consoles as we know it.

Rainbowsix while lacking content is one of the most fun games I have played in awhile due to the tactical thinking and actual skill needed to be good at the game. (Though hit detection does need some work)

I'm glad I didn't bother picking this game up then. Was so looking forward to it, but I know if I get into a lobby with any random people, it'll be much like this. Of course I could get my friends to join, but I doubt they all would want to pick this game up.

We need more games like Siege to break away from the Call of Duty style lone wolf get rewarded for racking up kills rinse and repeat games. I had a game earlier where I didn't score a single kill yet I moved forward with the team, taking down barricades and finally covering the bomb defuser to win the game and came away happy with the result. I'm fed up of guys who even when its a team based objective game type in Call of Duty will play lone wolf or camp for kills so they can use up their kill streaks and get more kills just to top the table.

No the GD lag is the biggest problem with this game then the players. Hey Ubisoft you cheap sonsbitches, when you put out a tactical game that hinges on teamwork and precision where matches are constantly decided by whom shot first not by who has the better connection then hows about dropping a couple bucks on some dedicated effin servers ?

Hi all, new to n4g here! Anyways, totally agree with alot of people's comments aswell as the official post on this topic. People do intend to try playing aggressive most of the time attacking or defending, missing or ignoring the major mechanics that this game has to offer, thats why I play with a full squad all the time, especially when it comes to rank matchmaking, casual matchmaking im not so bothered about. Team work involving communications I have always found to be so much fun. I played the beta for R6S for pc and decided to buy for ps4, as the community is bigger for consoles then it is for pc and we all know pc is more vulnerable to being hacked so thats why I went for ps4, the one major thing that I can not grasp is people that decided to buy a game based on team work and dont have a mic, another reason for playing with a squad of friends.
