The Darius series may not be as recognized as competing space shooters such as R-Type and Gradius, but it deserves its spot alongside those series as the best shooters of all time. This latest iteration packs in an enhanced arcade port that can be played with up to four players and a brand new single-player campaign, but for a steep price.
Unfortunately, instead of providing quality content, Dariusburst Chronicle Saviours is filled to the brim with repetitive filler to justify its price point.
70 years and still going strong. And with some amazing games, too.
There are countless ones that weren't mentioned. Rastan. New Zealand Story. Cadash. NINJA KIDS.
I prefer the original Rastan...or, for that matter, the very rare Warrior Blade.
