Now that the PlayStation 2 games are now available to play for the PlayStation 4, many are curious as to how big the file sizes are going to be since a lot of gamers are still stuck on their 500GB hard drive.
I almost forgot that this year my favourite console turned 20, I feel like it deserved so much better. So come to memory lane and let me explain how it deserved so much better than the little it got.
PS2 will forever be the top-selling console of all time. Its unlikely any future console will ever surpass its sales.

Would be nice if we got a PS2 Mini. With hardware getting older now it's good to have a newer version that works.
Hopefully one actually made by Sony, as that would be nice. I'm still a bit let down by the PS1 Classic Mini.
Great list. I would like to add Burnout Revenge, Dark Cloud 1 & 2 to that pile. The PS2 is still my favorite PlayStation to this day, especially with the big three platformers that debuted in that era. I wish Midnight Club would make a comeback. I remember spending countless hours on GT4 when I was a kid.
That reminds me, I haven't played my PS2 in awhile. So many good memories with that console. I don't miss those cords with the controllers though
Some good wireless options for ds3 and 4 these days though and with FreeMCBoot (~$5 memory card on ebay) you can use most standard BT dongles via usb port
Will have to check that out. Wonder how many controllers you can hook up with the BT at once. I currently use the 4 player multitap to play games like Def Jam Fight for NY and Timesplitters 2 with 3 other people.
When thinking back on the best Playstation commercials ever made, the late Frank Budgen quickly comes to mind. Budgen was one of the commercial industry's most revered directors, before he passed away at age 61 in 2015 – and he made some of the most brilliant commercials the industry has ever seen.
Most video game consoles have barren libraries in the early going. However, these ten console launch titles almost make the early investment worth it.

My question is will games like Shin Megami Tensei III, Armored Core 3 and other underrated titles get the same treatment?
The prices however are everything but minimal.
10 years old games as digital downloads for 10-15 bucks?
You can find over the half of them for less than 10 at Ebay etc.
Just like Nintendo is overpricing their old 8 and 16 bit games usually, Sony is doing the same here with the PS2 ones.
$5 for every PS2 game would be okay. I won't buy any of them before they hit that number during a sale maybe.
