Sony's flagship console was far from faultless in 2015, yet fantastic where it mattered most.

All available May 5.
I think the only game here for me is Nine Sols. Was always interested in that game.
Good month for me, I wanted that particular footy game and thought it might be due. Anyway who cares, shame about the site I'll miss the comment sections. All the best everyone.
Naughty Dog was reportedly divided on the controversial fate of Joel in The Last of Us Part 2 during the game's development.
I think it was good decision, if he was still alive, he would have been a mascot just like Kratos, drake and many others. These old dudes gotta die for new characters to take center stage with their own storyline. They keep dragging the emotional baggage into many sequels and eventually the story just turns into absolute shit show.
Honestly as much as I loved the game, they could have just not killed him off.
I get it creator vision and all but killing a character that made you millions is just wrong imo. At least have him go down fighting.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
Your embed video is broken but cool.
It's not been without hiccoughs but overall, great.
— We've seen new features like communities and events to bring gamers closer together than previously. VR gaming is scheduled to make its mark on PS4 in 2016 to let gamers get hands on with new kinds of gaming experiences, as developers are able to experiment with providing us with new visual and sensory possibilities from games.
— PS2 emulation of some kind coming to PS4, we will find out in a couple of days how extensive it is. Whether we can put in our PS2 discs and expect to play the games through an emulator with enhancements, or if it's just a bunch of emulated ports that have added support like Trophies. One is better than the other, but either is good news.
— Bloodborne and its DLC expansion released, and it's the best (AAA-rated) exclusive, and a GOTY nominee.
— We got an emotionally historic E3 with a dream-like trifecta of announcements, and it's still sometimes difficult to grasp them all being real games and coming out in the next couple of years. These announcements that made adult gamers and the rewardingly patient scream and cry, and a visionary creator shed tears of joy along with them. Established has been, that PS4 has the most exclusives of 2016 by a landslide, including a fantastic mix of new IPs, sequels, remasters, inspired remakes, indie games on a scale both large & budget, and absolutely amazing Japanese studio representation harking back as close to the PS2 days as I think we're going to get. Despite having spent more money on third party deals than the competition can afford to these days, Sony is still able to use their earnings to provide a larger lineup of games going forwards than the competition, which is ridiculous. Tremendous support.
— Plus, having a larger community for the games on this console is awesome, and seeing the PS4 and its games see the greatest success bodes incredibly well for developers and publishers choosing to support it with games exclusive and otherwise. We're seeing games and select genres come back from generations past that only this kind of success would give publishers the confidence enough to green-light, and that also means it has and will continue to have unparalleled diversity.
So, PS4's best years are clearly yet to come. I see this year as being like the warmup PS3 had before its glorious 2009 lineup. Suffice to say, SCE's conferences throughout the year have been just spot on, nicely spaced out in the calendar and each offering a different perspective. We've seen so much announced for the next year and going forward from there. PSX is going to be that cherry on top of a very enjoyable and successful year. Dreams simply come true on this console.
Basically, if they added things that could be added through software updates the console would be near perfect?
The battery life in the controller aren't that bad.
It last for a pretty long time.
I do wish Sony would upgrade the battery, but it still isn't that bad.
Also I had edited this comment.
My previous one was talking about the controllers working perfectly.
Sony fixed the rubber on the new versions.
Only problem now is what I talked about in my first sentence.
