Some games make up for a lackluster story with excellent gameplay. These are some games with average storylines but great gameplay.
Who decides if a games story is average idefinitely ain't listening to no reviewers. I don't agree with most of then anyway. I think alot of them are to harsh on games so they can get clicks
The pinnacle of bad story but great gameplay is Destiny and Destiny 2. What is the Traveler? What is the Darkness? What the heck is happening? No one knew. But shooting the aliens and robots felt so good.

This week in gaming deals we have Mass Effect Legendary Edition the cheapest it's been so far, along with great deals on other games

Overpowered guns can often ruin the balance of a game but they can also be a ton of fun. Unless you're on the receiving end, of course.
Latest drivers, lowest settings, 720p, running as administrator, shutting down as many programs, processes and services as possible and it still runs like absolute crap. Its amazing that as well as Mad Max ran for me, this game is the exact opposite. This was my most anticipated game of the year and its unplayable. Half my time has been spent trying to get the game to run smooth. Now I cant get a refund so Im stuck with it. They better get to work on patches ASAP.
I'm running it on i5 3570, 16gb RAM, GTX 970 and everything is on high and it holds 60fps in the few minutes i played before work Oh I'm on 1920x1200 resolution.
At first I had terrible performance issues but after turning off global illumination and screen space reflections I'm getting consistent framerate which rarely dips below 60 even when there's lots of things going on. Also using SMAA instead of T2X. Everything else is on highest setting.
I have gtx 970, i5 4690k, 8gb RAM. Loving the game so far :)
If you go into launch options for JC3 on Steam and type in "/borderless / windowed" and turn off full screen in-game and V-sync you can get triple buffered V-sync so it doesn't cap itself to 30fps as soon as it drops a frame, also I turned off Global Illumination to get rid of the texture flickering, explosions still flicker when you're stood close but it's a hell of a lot smoother.
Game runs great with everything maxed, though I do admit that when I built my rig I went a bit overboard specifically because of badly optimised games like this, and the fact that I play quite a lot of early access games that usually run like crap, looking at you ARK.
