The Rainbow Six: Siege launch was delayed by around 24 hours, and with problems supposedly ironed out, the beta got underway. However, the servers have been hit an miss all weekend along with other serious problems.

Operation Silent Hunt is a Metal Gear Solid series crossover season bringing a new permanent Operator, limited-time event, exclusive cosmetics, and more to Rainbow Six Siege.
Ubisoft are just mocking us at this point. They can bring us solid snake but they can't bring us sam Fisher

"Six Invitational Paris 2026 was a very different event from last year’s in Boston, but it carved its own, very French path."

Solid Snake is entering Rainbow Six Siege in Operation Silent Hunt kicking off in March! Check out the Year 11 roadmap now.
Basically an online only game can not be having server issues this close to release, I'm interested in this title and will be purchasing if it turns out to be worth it but the signs are not great.
I feel for the developers tbh, damned if they do damned if they don't. It was bold releasing a "beta" so close to release to iron out potential problems because of articles like this and other doom and gloom buzz around the net (albeit justified) but I think tomorrow will be a lot smoother because of it. Ideally the game needed another slight delay I think to perhaps January but there is no way Ubi would do that and have it releasing so close to The Division.
I had some connection issues with the beta over the weekend. Sometimes I was getting dropped after the game was complete meaning I was missing out on the rewards.
Never got to play in the closed beta because of connectivity issues so because they still have this problem, suggests to me that Ubisoft hasn't grown up.
I Played the opend beta and i'm addicted now! Not enought content (need more unlock and customisation for attachement) but very very good gameplay!
