Lol... Thank you for reading! :)

I'd say 8.7 is pretty accurate. There are many bugs, the story is weak as the writer says, but overall it's a great experience. It doesn't have to be a 10 to be awesome. I personally enjoyed New Vegas more story-wise, but this game has the best mechanics. I think I would rate Bloodborne higher than this, as it's a much better game mechanically, but overall, I would rather play this game, even though I would give it a lower score due to it's bugs and other weaknesses just based on what I like to play.

Exactly! It often feels as if there's "review inflation" with everyone giving every AAA title out there a 10. Some games are fun and engaging without being perfect and that's perfectly fine :)

I enjoyed the review and will pick it up once a few patches hit.

I was just waiting to see if it had issues/bugs etc... I think PS3 Skyrim at launch scarred me when it comes to Bethesda.
And after just finishing Fallout 3 GOYE and just starting Fallout New Vegas I think I had the right idea waiting.
The further you get in all those games the worse the performance.

Glad this helped! Really enjoyed the game, and recommend it for anyone who likes this kind of thing :D

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
