I played alpha/beta on xb1 a while back, and it was alright, but like battlefront it left me wondering if there would be enough content. I got beta for ps4 aswell, but you have to wonder why they have a beta a week before release. Maybe they're doing it on purpose to push the release back. Ubi got any other games coming out shortly ?

I'm not actually sure what their plan was, but by all means delaying an open beta that is advertised on psn by a day is akin to launching a broken game on day 1. With all of the server issues and lack of content I know many that canceled their preorders. This beta did more harm for the game than good. On the upside I read that future dlc maps will be free, but remember: "Ubisoft, Ubisoft never changes"
