Thanks and Updates for Fallout 4

Bethesda writes: "Thank you! We can't say it enough- thank you for the amazing support you've given us. We're incredibly blessed to have so many incredible fans. You've made Fallout 4 not just our largest game launch ever, but one of the industry’s. It's beyond anything we hoped for."

Congratulations Bethesda. The massive sales was earned. I know I'm more than satisfied with the experience. Just as long as you don't patch out the bottlecap exploit.Gotta get dem caps.

1nsomniac3830d ago

...How exactly was it earned?

Just curious, as for something with such a massive development time, so little improvement & content actually dumbed down/removed. I'm interested in the opinion of people that have your trail of thought but then complain at COD for those same reasons...

Yeah, the ability to build stuff, the vastly improved progression system, the improved armor system, better crafting...nah, nothing new...

You should play it sometime.

isa_scout3830d ago

Uh, I bought COD and quite enjoy it. Maybe check my comment history? It may be a good idea to actually know what you're talking about before you attack someone for saying things they didn't say. And as frosty pants said, you should play it sometime.

PC confirmed beta tester. So much for being master race.

PC confirmed gets content first. Bethesdas preferred platform.

OT: I'm having a lot of fun with this game. I can't believe how much time I've spent building settlements. I start working on one, then I look up and it's been an hour+.

Still no day one update for PS4 users in Asia. Really want to play the game after installing the update.

Yukonsbud3830d ago

Congrats Bethesda. Some of my favorite gaming moments have been playing your games. Glad to hear you are going to address some of the issues in FO4. A solid 30fps will make my whole winter.

thekhurg3830d ago

According to Pete Hines, the framerate is fine. If Bethesda were to address this, it would turn him into the public liar that most people already take him for.

impet253830d ago

Please fix the corrupt save bug and the endless loading loop. The game is unplayable for me atm. I'm 40 hours in and I don't want to have to restart the game.

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

-Foxtrot187d ago

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

mastershredder187d ago

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

lukasmain187d ago

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
