Lol been playing since Friday and can tell you that this is the best Star Wars game of all time! This is coming from someone who is solely playing single player and couch co op, as I do not have ps plus!

Bullshit review if I've ever seen one! Graphics are absolutely the best to date and gameplay is so addicting and absolutely nails the true Star Wars feel from the first 3 films!

More people that don't understand you can't create a brand new game from the ground up in less time then it takes to make a Call of Duty... and expect a ton of content.

People are expecting too much.

They weren't going to sell this for $30, because in 2015, $60 IS LESS then $30 in 2005.

This game also had to come out at a timeframe to match the new movie release, which means even if they wanted to put a bit more content in, they were hampered by the need to limit the scope of the game in order to ENSURE it came out, without massive Battlefield 3/4 type bugs when the MOVIE COMES OUT.

Maybe you would be fine to wait another two years or even THREE for a full fledged game that accomplishes everything and builds off SOME OTHER STUDIO'S game, Battlefront 2...

But this is not the situation this game came to be. They announced the license in MAY of 2013. CoD Blops 3, was already being made in 2012. Let that sink in.

It's like people forget that Battlefront II had lots more content then Battlefront I, but expect now 10 years later, with completely different and more advanced tech, by a DIFFERENT company, under EXTREME timeline constraints... they knock down what this game is. It's hilariously myopic.

Again, let this sink in. In 1994, if you sold ONE OUNCE OF GOLD, you could buy FOUR SNES games.

In 2015, if you sold ONE OUNCE OF GOLD, you could buy EIGHTEEN GAMES.

That's how much the $$$, and pound, and euro, etc, etc... have all devalued. Battlefront for $50 in 2005, costs alot more then Battlefront for $60 in 2015.

You want to be able to afford higher priced games, blame your leaders and your fake markets like Wall Street and City of London.

No single-player
No vehicles
No space battles
Hardly any maps
Hardly any heroes/villains.

The lack of content is something truely to be desired. I really think EA made a bad call on just 8 maps the season pass should have been 40$ with an announcement of the first map pack free if the developers needed more time but needed to cash in early. But even so no excuses here.

EA access in 6 months it is. This game was underwhelming to say the least with my playtime with EA Access. Hey, at least EA access gives a preview of it and I expect this game to have may 6s and 7s when it is all said and done.

Lack of content killed it for me. No single player. I didn't like the game.

What's sad is that I can see the potential but they just rushed it for the movie..... SALES SALES SALES SALES!!!!

I don't have a problem with the amount of content. 9 pvp modes, a horde mode, and 14 maps isn't bad. Plus the modes are varied. I don't even have a problem with the $50 season pass. What I do have a problem with is the game lacking any sort of depth and some of the modes are kind of a mess. The game is very simplistic, yet at times confusing. At the very least barriers should have been added to the horde mode for depth and there should have been an overrun/gardens and graveyards style mode where both teams take turns.

Too bad, I wasnt expecting such a poor review to be honest. I really enjoyed the beta quite a bit. Seems like the biggest problem with this game is its lack of content/maps.

I'm not saying I entirely disagree with the sentiments here but everything about this screams clickbait early review - probably because I have never heard of Pixelgate, who submitted this to N4G themselves, with their 45 Twitter followers. Just saying I'll wait for more reputable source before I settle.

It's ridiculous to see the people who defended titanfall all of a sudden change their tune.
All I know is that I'm going to be enjoying this game to the fullest!

Even if I play it for 30 hours over the next month...that'll be $2 an hour well spent. The game has the best visuals, best environments and deeper immersion than any of the other shooters released this year so far. It's a great installment for the Star Wars franchise.

The game in Canada is 80$ and the season pass is 70$. This is freaking ridiculous.

Thats a terrible score.. I doubt its that bad but i dont think its going to be as good as people hoped.. EA probably forced dice to cut content so they can put it out as DLC..

Early reviews are usually a bit more flattering in my experience, this does not bode well.

I've played the beta and the EA ACCESS 10 hour trial. I love it. It's beautiful. It's brilliant. It's worth what star wars fans are willing to pay for it.

The content of this game are very short. It's not even funny.

You know when I am going to he mad, is when I hear that this game is selling millions over millions. Why ??? because freaking EA knows how to get away with bad product, microtransaction, lack of content, and crazy season pass.
Other publishers would not get away with those, but I still have no idea how they manage to get away with stuff like that

You have to pay over $100 to get the full game so I'm happy it's getting these low scores. Will it effect sales? Probably not they will be good but maybe it will make a little dent and make EA realize we not putting up with this crap.

A lot of people really want this game to be amazing. They see the visuals and hear the sounds. It's all there, that signature Star Wars feeling we all know and love. Please be good! I'm gonna force myself to like it. I'll go into denial and I'll find something in it to enjoy in it! Please! But at some point you have to realize and admit that EA blew it.

Haven't played this yet and 4.5 might be a little harsh but this is an EA published game. EA is all about profit and could care less about content or the wants and needs of fans. I think I will red box this first, just in case the reviewer is correct.

Gotta say I've been playing for a few hours... One of the best looking games ever made. Star Wars is great... but I'm already bored. It's a very basic and unexciting game my mind is tricking me into appreciating due to graphics and a Star Wars wrapper.

I can not help but agree with this review for the most part. I had early access with ea access and all though the game is solid and pretty, it's also very shallow and empty. I love star wars and the old battlefronts, they did a real injustice to fans of both with this game. I myself would give it a 7/10 however that $50 season pass is like a kick to the face!

The beta bored me to tears. It was so bland and run of the mill. I didn't expect it to score well, and it shouldn't.

this game is a gotcha game, 16 maps on season pass?! lol thats great if the actual game came with more than it did. i had this half paid for but glad i waited a little, gonna move that money to a 5 tb hdd instead of buying this game model fall out 4, halo, blops, tomb raider here i come!

Many people seem to think an 8 is average. But an 8 means if you like the genre, then you will love the game. A 9.5 or higher probably means almost everyone will love the game because it is so undeniably awesome or moving or revolutionary.

This game represents everything wrong with modern gaming. Rushed to meet the release of Star Wars the Force Awakens. No space battles (a main feature for star wars films), no single player campaign, conquest mode, vehicles, etc. $50.00 season pass..... If this game sells as good as call of duty then yes gaming will get worse

Anytime a game gets a bad score people always say it's click bait. here's a crazy idea maybe the game isn't good in this person's opinion, and that correlates to a 4.5. value proposition has to come in the play for this game considering it's $110 for the full game. The core game lacks fun content outside of one mode. I feel like a 4.5 is a fair score for a game that only sells you half of it for $60.

All my holiday game predictions came true. I got burnt by too many games during the ps2 era,I know what to look out for. Some stuff you can smell before walking in bathroom.

Great gaming year for me. Didn't buy or play one bad game, all my predictions were right, saved a lot of money and racked up a lot of reward credits, as well built a big library of games. Rest of the year will be bc games and games I haven't bought yet. Majority of which should be digital. But then again disc bc game will only be 5 bucks vs 20 bucks for digital.

There are people who say games that are too short aren't worth full price. I say it's more like these sort of games that aren't worth it. Titanfall, Evolve, Battlefront etc. You shell out all this money just to play short matches with children screaming about being balls deep in your mom. To top it off, these games are overrun with day one DLC and microtransactions. Somebody must be flushing LOTS of money down the drain, if so many are following suit with this sales model.

The score tells me I shouldn't read this review, because I've only ever played one game that warranted a low score like that in my entire life. I don't even remember the name of that game it was so bad.

What bothers me is the extremely high priced DLC. That's just insane. $50 for DLC??? Are you serious right now? That's just trying to one up Bungie for their ridiculous $40 Destiny Expansion. If devs think money grows on trees, then I can understand why they're so insane.
