I completely disagree. $60 is the gold standard and it shouldn't change whether the game is single player only, multiplayer only or both.

What you are asking is for developers to start bloating their games for the sake of it just to justify their game costing $60.

This logic works in the favor of open world games, rpg's and even MMO's which is wrong especially seeing as how were in the open world fad now.

Also, bringing up this topic right now is weird in itself. Does this guy really care more for quantity than quality?
Did people forget that a lot of the great games from last gen and gens before are non-open world, linear or don't rely too much on "I have 400 hours of content, it takes me 400 hours to beat this game"?

It makes me think as to how Half-Life 3 would be received in this day and age seeing as how the series itself has been linear and can be beaten in the same time you beat a game like The Order. Would Valve now have to add extra modes to Half-Life 3 to justify a $60 purchase? Would they have to make the game extremely long or open world to justify the time to price ratio?

I completely agree. People always say that devs should lower their prices if they feel the game lacks content, but always forget that by that logic devs should raise their prices if they feel it has too much content.

I disagree with this video completely, the everyone would just raise the cost of the game without having more content in the title itself, and time spend in a game does not mean value of the title, I say it is the experience itself, not how long the developers can drag it on for.
