Digital Foundry just did their analysis. PC then PS4 and X1 is last but all really buggy (was expected but still not ok). Wondering if I should wait to start this.

joab7773759d ago

No. The bugs are always part of the experience. I don't think I've ever had a game breaking bug, just some crazy clipping etc.

Yeah, as expected...

I can't wait for it to drop!

If it ain't buggy, it ain't Bugthesda. Their new slogan.

The only difference is the FPS, this is parity at the worst for PC gamers.

I'm still buying for my PC -=o)

Elit3Nick3759d ago

You forget the motto of PC gamers, mod it till it breaks. There are already ENB mods that will greatly enhance the look of the game.

NicSage3759d ago

True, I was very surprised by the textures in Digital Foundry comparison video. I saw little to no difference between PC and consoles.

LamerTamer3758d ago

It was said that the xbone was the lead platform and then ported to everything else. Since they got it running at 1080p on the xbone they had to gimp the graphics for the weak GPU they have in there. So the PS4 suffers a little from the parity as they aren't using any of the better GPU features, and the PC really gets the shaft as you get xbone graphics in higher res.

Parity sucks.

starchild3758d ago

Even in this Internet video I can see the PC version has more shadows with a further draw distance. I haven't read the Digital Foundry comparison, but I'm sure there are more differences as well.

NicSage3758d ago

Thing I noticed was the texture quality did not differ from the consoles to the PC all that much.

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

mastershredder105d ago

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

lukasmain105d ago

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
