Playstation > Xbox > PC

37%, 22% and 20% respectively

_-EDMIX-_3880d ago

...your a good person to post that. Bubbles for your moral deeds.

nix3880d ago

He got it wrong. Xbox1 is behind Mobile and PC.

BitbyDeath3880d ago

Do you work for the MS PR department?

From the article:-

"The first one is PS4, followed by “Other” platforms (mainly mobile devices) and then we find the PC. The PC has managed to surpass all old-gen consoles, as well as Microsoft’s Xbox One."

PS4 > Mobile > PC > Xb1

Brotard3880d ago

Haha don't know where he got the 22 along with xbone. Haha you are the correct one. And secondly. It's no wonder they don't make anything for wii u.

lelo2play3879d ago

Actually ... you are also wrong :-)

PS4 > Others* > PC > X1 >>> WiiU

* (includes mobile, ancillaries, etc)

YinYangGaming3879d ago

My original comment: "Playstation > Xbox > PC "

I never said PS4, OR Xbox 1 because I added PS4 and PS3 together and then X1 and X360 together as a platform.

Uplay is garbage, won't catch me playing Ubisoft games on Pc

_-EDMIX-_3880d ago

I would only not play a Ubisoft game on PC due to performance, but if the performance is good, I just don't care.

I've never got a game due to community junk, like Steam, Origin, Uplay, PSN etc.

Most times I don't even do anything in them to care lol. I used Origin for BF3....yet I lived life still lol

I realized just how little I even used Steam features to care. If the performance is right and the price is low, I actually don't care if its on Steam, Origin, Uplay etc.

Mind you, I have over 50 plus Steam games, 80 plus boxed PC titles and maybe 5 or 6 Origin games. Only due to sales, some being given for free and I had to have it to play a certain title.

I like Steam a lot, but not enough to not play a game or something, if its a game I want, the price is right, the performance is right...I actually don't care what I'm downloading it from in terms of overlay.

Maxor3880d ago

Uplay is so integrated into Steam now a days, I don't even care. So this Uplay hate is totally irrational unless there's a Steam functionality that is none negotiable.

If you're going to hate something, hate Origin. EA simply insists on their platform exclusivity.

The way they poorly optimize PC games, this doesn't come as a surprise.

Maxor3880d ago

Not Ubisoft. Their games run great on the PC.

AC Unity averages 45-60 FPS on the PC with a 970 GTX. On the PS4 it still runs like crap. So this statement is utterly untrue.

marioJP873879d ago

I fail to detect sarcasm but you did name a game that suffered on PC as well.

Maxor3879d ago

The key word is suffered. Unity performance on the PC is no longer an issue.

On the PS4 it's still terrible. I know because I bought the PS4 version when it came out and received the PC version for free when I bought my Nvidia card later that year.

003880d ago

it would probably be higher if they got rid of uplay.

Stringerbell3880d ago

No doubt. Remove uplay and idk optimize your games and that percent would be higher.

JackBNimble3880d ago

How do you truly optimise for PC when there is such a wide range of gpu specs ? Unless you optimise for high end gpu's but then you cut off probably at least half the user base.

Brotard3880d ago

It definitely wouldn't be higher cause they would have to split profits. They would have to regularly sell 30% more copies to make the same on steam as uplay.

I can't sit here and act like I know these workers financial situations. And I'm sure nobody wakes up WANTING to go to court. But for the sake of the industry, I wish some of these types of cases made it to trial.

Settlements allow companies to continue to do whatever abusive practices they do. While the trials (should the company lose) would actually force real changes for the better.

But again, I'm not in these workers shoes and I can understand them not wanting to risk it.
