This awesome and mean at the same damn time! They want people have fun and but have no interaction with another living person for several weeks because Fallout will consume you. If you never played 3, to have it and 4 together equals goodbye free time lol.

They trying to get people fired, encourage divorce, and start an epidemic of children being neglected. This is how the zombie apocalypse starts...

Yes, me too

A nice free bonus for new gamers getting into Fallout.

Just like Gear of War, I suspect gamers are going to see more value in their purchases courtesy of Backwards Compatibility.

There's also the FallOut 4 bundle

Agree Foehammer can't wait for BC finally get to try out some of my old 360 games. Also excellent we can play online with 360 gamers the BC feature is excellent and not appreciated as much as it should be.

didn't finish fallout 3, depending on how much I enjoy fallout 4.. a man might revisit 3.

Lev19033857d ago

I think thats kinda dangerous. Fallout 3 was great but the gunplay in fallout 4 seems a million times better. I suggest you first start with 3 before going to 4.

I am willing to bet you wont finish it again, because you will go from a geat game to an aged game.

Fro_xoxo3857d ago (Edited 3857d ago )

You do have a point. After playing a much improved version, a man might not want to return to scraps.

One of the reason i stopped playing fallout 3, The game_play mechanics weren't captivating. With 4 looking like a big improvement in that department, I might just move on to 4 and not look back.

One of the few cases where a marketing deal helps the consumer. Nice to see!

bleedsoe9mm3857d ago

thats the trend on the xb1 , gears , fallout , seige , just cause all giving BC games , great for consumers .

I think it's a great gesture to give it for free, and I hope Xbox One owners are happy about it. Personally though, I think that it'll be a waste if only because Fallout 4 is probably going to be massive. So massive that people will be on it forever, or they'll burn out on huge open world games for a while, and play other smaller games fora while before thinking about such things. So Fallout 3 would get lost in the sea of new releases. Though hey, it's a fucking great game, and I hope Xbox One owners find some time to play one of last gen's best RPGs.

NicSage3857d ago

I'm kinda feeling the burn with Witcher 3, game is amazing 10/10 in my book but man so much to do! play a few days take a break so on and so on.

Love that game tho.

UnHoly_One3857d ago

It depends on the type of gamer you are. If you are like many people now that don't go back and revisit older games then you are probably right.

But, if you're like me and you replay old classics all the time, then yeah it's going to get used. Hell I just replayed through New Vegas a couple months ago again.

I'll play 4 for a good long time, but I know without a shadow of a doubt that I'll be replaying 3 again someday. Maybe not till a year from now, but it'll happen.

Would be nice if they had New Vegas ready as well, especially because of the show.

Hopefully this doesn't have the same performance issues as Oblivion Remastered.

cloganart138d ago

I haven't seen anything on these performance issues? What's been going on?

walken7138d ago

Probably the Unreal Engine issues, I skipped it for that reason.

Snookies12139d ago (Edited 139d ago )

Throw in all the DLC as well, like Oblivion and I'll definitely bite. I recall having one trophy left to unlock on the PS3 version with 100+ hours in my save. When my save file got corrupted, lol. Very sad day.

To be fair though, Bethesda was trash at Playstation ports anyway.

Michiel1989138d ago

all devs sucked at porting to ps3 for the first like 3 years because no one had experience with the cell architecture. Even 1st party took a long while to get proficient with it, the difference between uncharted 1 and 3 is massive for example.

Extermin8or3_138d ago

Oh oh oh I can do this too. GTA 7 will be made at some point in the future. Fallout 5 will enter development in the future too

jznrpg138d ago

Everyone there should know most gamers want New Vegas and Morrowind more than anything.

Christopher138d ago

Which is why we won't get them. Gotta keep floating "support this one and it might happen".

BlaqMagiq1138d ago

Can't wait. Won't have to go back to my PS3 to play this when it comes out.
