Outlast scared the living hell out of me. It's pacing was perfect, and the unnerving atmosphere created a tension throughout the entire game, setting you up perfectly for the big scares. The DLC was OK, but the base game itself was brilliant. Hopefully Red Barrels can take the sequel to new heights and keep the originals DNA in place. I'm pretty confident this one will ruin my sleeping habits for a week or two next fall!

While I think PlayStation VR will be a hit with its targeted audience, I'm still not sure this will be the juggernaut many are hoping it will be. It definitely has the potential based the demos we've heard of and the trailers we've seen. Hopefully these "200 developers" working on PSVR will be able to add to the launch line up to make it as enticing as possible.

As far as Outlast goes, I was scared silly just watching a live-stream of it, so I'm pretty sure I'll simply do that when Outlast 2 comes out and save myself the heart attack.
