'Fallout 4' Leaks Aren't Worth It

Forbes: A bunch of Fallout 4 leaks hit the internet today, and fans aren’t all too pleased with it. It’s theoretically a lot of info: gameplay and screenshot leaks, stacked with information that could spoil certain parts of the experience if you’re inclined to look/to be spoiled. There’s other Bethesda isn’t happy either: they’ve been fighting off leaked information for literal years now, and it looks like this is the last volley before the game actually comes out next week. Tuesday, november 10: the day the Fallout 4 leaks finally end.

I cant believe the only things I've seen about this game are the e3 demo and the trailer. Been on a media blackout on this one and I couldnt be happier! One more week!!

Same here, I'm also going to be taking a hiatus from n4g for a few days to avoid early/all reviews.

Same here! I watched the Special videos and trailer. It's been great not knowing anything! Can't wait to experience it all!

How about just releasing the damn game once it's in the stores? Why do people have to wait another week after the stores received it to buy it. Why not say if you preorder it you get it the day the store gets it. If you don't then you can wait a week.

Simco8763858d ago

What about those digital downloads people are waiting on. That wouldn't be fair to them.

SeanScythe3858d ago

digital should be the same thing, this BS about games getting shipped to stores and released a week later is stupid. Once you have the product you should sell it.

Lighter93858d ago

The stores have to do what they're told. I used to stock electronics at Target, and we not break the street date for anyone or anything. I think the company itself has to agree to certain terms if they want to stock things.

I disagree, I think they can be worth it. I love Fallout, but I also loved Batman, and well, that didn't turn out well. Reality is one trailer and nice words don't cut it anymore, I need information. I've been carefully looking for information about certain aspects of the game and I don't have any doubts anymore, I'm jumping in day one.

There haven't been any spoilers leaked thus far. Just random gameplay shooting mutants and the opening scene that was shown at E3. Pretty much all the same stuff that's been released by Bethesda has leaked. Only 1 week, can't wait.

I am going dark I'll see y'all on the other side these leaks are getting rediculous if I were Bethesda I'd push the release up

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

-Foxtrot198d ago

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

mastershredder198d ago

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
