Well it certainly looks more crisp and the shadows look good.
How was the PC version even leaked at all, are these a controlled leak by Bethesda themselves? Isn't the PC version coming with only a portion of the game on disc and in order to play the game we will need to download the rest of the game? The same was done for Skyrim, so how was this PC leak even possible?

Vanila will look the same on everything. Looks good, but it is not impressive for any system,..(It is actually strange how it is locked at 30 on PS4) Even on xbox one it is going to look the same,.. which is not impressive at all ,.. On PC it is probably the game that will run at 4K without any problems for many,.. but vanila will look pretty much the same.

Don't care what the game looks like. I'm more interested with the stability of the engine. The modding community is what will make this game for me, just like Skyrim.

From my understanding even if they had the PC version it would need to connect to Steam to activate and download the remaining files, and Steam allowed it? As far as I'm aware the disc based PC game doesn't contain all the files needed to run. Would that mean Bethesda is behind all these leaks? Or did everyone in the media decide to get sued by Bethesda for breaking their NDAs?

Bethesda's art really confuses me sometimes. I can't decide whether they purposely make their stuff look cartoony, or if their artists can't do realistic properly.

Whoever took these could've been more careful to mind the compression.

Sorry but I'm calling bullshit on this. Only Bethesda themselves could release PC screenshots at the moment. It's most likely console screen caps not PC ones and someone has gone to great effort to fake the key guides.. the font is actually inconsistent. Some text is bold and the tab, space buttons seem to not be as thick as the rest. This could have been photoshopped to look like PC but its not.

This leak is probably fake.. even I fell for it at first. I suspect PC on Ultra would look better. I guess only time will tells, just 7 days people!

I love how you have NO IDEA how much shadows impact performance. Take Witcher 3. Extend the shadow draw distance to max figure in the ini file and watch your FPS go from the 60s to the 20s.

Shadows and shadow draw distance are one of, if not THE, biggest performance consumers in graphics.

PC on Ultra clearly has FAR better and further shadows than on consoles.

Can't wait to play this at 60fps on my Alienware Alpha with a Ps4 gamepad.Surpringly this machine can run games at high settings that aren't suppose to run on a i3,must be that overlooked 860m doing the work.O well enjoy the game on what ever you play on.#Stop the hate.

Building textures seem a bit flat to anyone else? Game looks great though. I'm pretty shocked they've gone for such a vibrant color palette this time around. Looks like dark/dreary then previous games.

PC players need a console. Console players don't need a pc. It's that simple.

I have to ask this question....I placed Fallout a liltle bit and it seems like such an overwhelemng game but it reminfers me HL-2

Of course, PC HD is going to look way better than consoles. Finding out a PS4 to a 4K monitor gives the graphics a volume effect which gets close to PC at 1080p. No comparison if PC is at 4K. This game looks like it will be worth it to play kicked back with the console, then played through again on a 4K PC. We know the PC versions are always bugged for months on end. The console versions will be just as bugged but patching is fairly smooth these days. On the art style, it is showing a possible alternate timeline plus there is the decco style dark humor from the '50s B-movies and comics. The PC version will be worth it later after mods start showing up.

I'm ready for this game. Hope everyone on all platforms will enjoy the experience. Too bad my PS4 is down because of a recent power surge. Sad about that.

Bring back freedom with magic (even if exploitable it's fun). Bring back utterly bizarre and memorable characters (starfield felt like theirs were designed by a committee of wet blankets). Bring back actual consequential player choice ie different classes and guilds/houses/etc that can't all be done in the one playthrough. And update or replace that damn engine for more seamless streaming/traversal so dungeons, towns and buildings aren't segmented separate levels. And for the love of god don't dare do that shitty dialog wheel and voiced player again

Starfield could have become an (Xbox) megaseller and critically acclaimed milestone in the Sci-Fi genre.

I would have never let them work with CreationEngine 2 for that, but scrapped it completely.

the Fallout 4 Anniversary edition is a JOKE.. way too expensive.. and its broken.. Bethesda is a joke now..
