Just want to ask people - in a game like Fallout, do you prefer to have a binary Karma system or not ?

I really liked it in Fallout 3. In Skyrim, without such a system, most actions weren't meaningful in the slightest. "No good or bad" only works when the world is simulated extensively enough to make it work, or if the game is heavily story driven. Skyrim's simulation was definitely not good enough for that (it's probably insanely hard to do that in a game that's so open and interactive)

It'll be interesting to how this aspect turns out in Fallout 4 (they don't have a visible Karma system apparently)

This game will be a strain on every relationship I have in the real world

Called every store in my city earliest I can get it is Saturday.

So there are a lot of things that I'm not liking from watching and reading the leaks.

The dialogue has been severely dumbed down
The UI is worse than fallout 3 in places.
The looting has been greatly simplified and you no longer have a menu
There is no skill system and everything is done by perks
You gain xp very quickly
Graphics are ugly
There is no reputation system
The two main factions are more like fallout 3 than new vegas
Power armor uses power cells
Speech checks are gone
Super mutants are weak

Stay away from NeoGAF guys, leaked gameplay videos everywhere over there.

Honestly, if Bethesda are upset over the leaks, well, maybe they should just release it early.

I'm so stoked to play it, this is the last game of 2015 I'm buying.. 1 more week to go!!!

Just done look at the leaks it's that easy.

I rarely look at anything about a game I'm getting when it is this close to the release date.

I like to learn stuff as I play the game. I mainly just skim the titles of N4G articles and move along, especially when the games that you don't ruined pop up.

I dont want to see nothing. Watching or reading any of this leaked information/Videos is just going to ruin the game for me. But I do want it now and would probably do unforgivable things to have it in my hands now. Lol. Cant frickin wait!!!!

Bring back freedom with magic (even if exploitable it's fun). Bring back utterly bizarre and memorable characters (starfield felt like theirs were designed by a committee of wet blankets). Bring back actual consequential player choice ie different classes and guilds/houses/etc that can't all be done in the one playthrough. And update or replace that damn engine for more seamless streaming/traversal so dungeons, towns and buildings aren't segmented separate levels. And for the love of god don't dare do that shitty dialog wheel and voiced player again

First of all, they should replace Todd Howard for that to happen.

Starfield could have become an (Xbox) megaseller and critically acclaimed milestone in the Sci-Fi genre.

I would have never let them work with CreationEngine 2 for that, but scrapped it completely.

the Fallout 4 Anniversary edition is a JOKE.. way too expensive.. and its broken.. Bethesda is a joke now..
