Nuka Cola Quantum available at Target next month

A Fallout-themed soda will hit Target stores to coincide with the launch of Fallout 4.

Testfire3855d ago

I'm buying a 6-pack or two of sarsaparilla for release haha.

When fans can create better replicas you have a problem.

I didn't see a picture of Target's Nuka Cola, so how do you know the fan made version is better?

Did I miss pictures somewhere?

EDIT: Nevermind, I did not see the pictures due to me phone before. I still think the Target version looks really cool. Quit being a goober.

It's what he does around here. ALL the time.

Are people kidding

They finally make a replica of one of their drinks and they make something COMPLETELY different

Why would you buy this, jeez it's not hard to do an actual old school glass bottle with a cap lid

All I'm seeing is Jones Blue Lemonade flavour soda in a different packaging

NSANiTY3854d ago (Edited 3854d ago )

>-Foxtrot - Sounds about right to me. Probably will be a similar or that same flavor. Think they could have done a bit better with the bottle and label to make it look more like the in-game Nuka Cola Quantum. And would have been great if they would have made the bottle cap like the in-game ones instead of a plain old twist off.

But, that being said, I'll still give it a whirl. Why the hell not, heh. Haven't had a jones soda in a while anyways.

yellowgerbil3854d ago

at least the Jones version tastes great. Having it as a collectible is one thing. drinking some quantum while I skip work for 3 days to play that game straight. nice.

Yui_Suzumiya3855d ago

Definitely buying some for my first play session :3

Vegamyster3855d ago

I'd like to give them a try but Target is gone up here in Canada, kinda look like blue lemonade Jones soda

Testfire3855d ago

It is. "Eagle-eyed observers will note that the soda is simply a repackaging of Jones Soda’s berry lemonade flavor, albeit with a much more vibrant appearance."

I didn't notice that or the label on the bottle before lol.

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

-Foxtrot190d ago

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

mastershredder190d ago

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

lukasmain190d ago

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
