WWE 2K16 CheatCC Review

WWE 2K16 overwhelms players with content, from game modes, existing wrestlers, and customization options. People may find themselves so enraptured that they won't want to upgrade to WWE 2K17.

I buy WWE's game every year and, so far, as much as I like WWE2K16, it is their glitchiest release yet. Hope they release a patch soon to address a LOT of the issues.

From my understanding it is still missing a lot of content that was on the PS1/N64 era. I would also suggest to up the player count in the ring as well, but there is an issue at times with collision detection. I'll make a quick list of what should be in a ultimate Wrestling game...

-Casket match, Buried Alive match, Lumberjack match, Parking Lot match, and several others (ladder match with a special item on it?)

-Better Collision detection then more than 6 wrestlers in the ring at once.

-More freedom when playing as a wrestler. Possibly take a que from smaller PC wrestling games by having complete control over the character from locker room to the ring. I do enjoy the interfere feature, but I hope they expand on that.

-Move to other parts of the arena, fight in the crowd.

These games need more custom features. Picture LBP like creation in a wrestling game. The matches could be incredible.

There's not a whole lot that's missing besides trivial things. What have you heard? Because that certainly isn't true from what I've been playing. This game supersedes ANYTHING from ps1/N64 era.

Those matches aren't done in real life, besides Lumberjack matches, so they are staying true to what's on TV, that's one of the rules laid out by the WWE itself, not 2K.

It's more than just collision issues that hinder from having more than 6 people. It's just a big clusterfuck really when you put too many people in the ring. 6 people in there and it already feels full as it is.

That's what My Career and Universe is for. Maybe they'll take some cues from a few of these suggestions though.

Moving to other parts of the arena is fine, but if it's not done good it shouldn't be half assed implemented just for the sake of implementing it, you know?

Wanting games from the PS1/N64 era is just ludicrous, but if you want those games, there are emulators out there that let you play them. WWF No Mercy was (and still is) so many people's favorite. It was mine for the longest time, but after years of not playing it and then finally playing it, I questioned why I ever liked the game. WWE games have evolved well beyond No Mercy, but haters are going to hate, regardless. The game play is so much better in WWE2K16 with all new moves that represent the current era of WWE. Stuff nobody would have ever imagined back playing No Mercy.

At least you have The Terminator. That's something.

Me too one of my favorite superstars lol

Well, I stand by what I said about this being the glitchiest WWE game yet. Just had a major crash and I had to delete the game. Currently reinstalling it. Fuhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Are Wrestling Games Getting Worse?

Some of you may know that the latest instalment in the WWE gaming franchise 2K20 was released late last year to generally poor reviews. Some of this was based on graphical issues, but mostly it was due to the many glitches and bugs found – many of which are hilarious to witness.

Fire Pro needs more love. The last PS4 title gets regular playtime from me.

I hear that there are financial troubles at the studio, but I'm hopeful for a Switch port one of these days.

Anyone remember Giant Gram Wrestling on the Dreamcast .....

Rambokind2317d ago

Ah hell yes! That was loads of fun.

Acecalibur2317d ago

Fire Pro just gets better. Buy it.

micdagoat192317d ago

I have Fire Pro for PS4 and PC but it seems more of like a Sim creator rather than people actually playing out matches. I still dont like anything as much as the N64 games

Golden Era of wrestling games in the Golden Era of wrestling. I've been contemplating going back and getting a N64 and getting those classic's

addictedtochaos2317d ago
