Platinum Games - developers of Bayonetta, Vanquish and Metal Gear Rising - are behind the latest Transformers title. There's not much to tell between the Xbox One and PS4 versions apart in terms of image quality but performance? Well, that's another matter.

Many of these are available on other platforms like the PS3, 360 XBO... so no need for the PS4 version if you want to just play it.
If you want to just have it for the sake of saying you have an expensive piece, then.... sure. I will say though, anything LRG I dont count as all they do is re-release other peoples work. They used to do their own games, but found it more lucrative to re-press games with their own name on it. That is just glorified reproductions / bootlegs.

Aw snap, i pirated the first game since I couldn't get it on steam but couldn't get it to work. Guess i don't gotta go out of my way now. Now if only SONY worked with em to port over Edge of Time or remastered Shattered and Edge.
WTF? I’ve been wanting to replay Fall/War games. So bummed they didn’t make em backwards compatible. I think imma have to dig out my 360 out of storage
Really wish they’d finish off the Fall/War run as a trilogy. The IP’s being wasted on mediocre games.
I really loved those games, I have them on my Steam account, but I wish they made more games like that.

You can play all of these games still lol. The headline is just misleading. Funny is that there is not one game in the list that you really can't play anymore due to it being online only games.
Its not about games you can't play. Its about games you can't officially buy anywhere.
Who needs to buy these games anyway? Most of them are average at best and won't really be missed.
It says buy, not play though. You can't purchase Deadpool or the Simpsons game anymore. Unless you have a 360 for the simpsons or a physical copy of deadpool, or purchased it before it was delisted.

One you actually legit cannot play AT ALL is Noby Noby Boy. I miss turning my brain off and messing around in that game, was so psyched to re-download it when i rebought a ps3 slim, but you cant, even if it's in your downl library, along with a few other obscure PS3 games i had.
I would replace Transformers Devastation with War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron tho.
Transformers Devastation was good but not as good as Fall and War of Cybertron they should be on the list. SH 2 I can play any time I want since it came free in a $10 Xbox I bought used. The Simpsons Arcade I have on my PS3 surprised the Xmen Arcade game is not on this list or the Turtles arcade game either.
I had the X-Men arcade game on my 360. I don't know if Xbox Live is still a thing or not, and of it is, I don't know of they still sell X-Men. But it was deinitely on Xbox Live at some point.
If you had X-Men before you can redownload it from your transaction history on the 360 Microsoft did not castrate the 360 from online. That is how I was able to redownload the old TMNT arcade game to my 360 you can't play it on XB1 or Series X but you can still access it for sure on the 360.
PS4 slaughters the Xbox1 in frame rate. Studdering was very noticeable.
This is clearly a case of poor optimizations on Xbox One. There's no reason this game should be dropping to 40fps on one and remain rock solid on another.
I suspect this is the same team at Platinum responsible for The Legend of Korra.
There is good news coming from this though. That means, unless Platinum is split into more than 2 teams, their A team is the one working on Scalebound. I expect great optimizations, especially because it's an exclusive.
I enjoyed it on PS4--all I care about. Think I noticed screen tearing about 2-3 times in first section of the game (city) but otherwise it ran fine and played great. It might had been part of the game though as it has occasional old crt TV/cartoon "quirks" in it by design which was nice actually and kind of cool.
Not the most complicated Action game but for old fans especially it is worth a rent at least imo.
Was wondering which preformed better. Guess Im getting the PS4 version
