Before going entering Iron Chef or any other cooking competition, chefs must train for many years. They aren't merely pros at slicing and dicing – they must be able to create the tastiest dish possible with whatever ingredients are provided. The chef that can pull that off is truly a master.
Order Up! is the beginning, middle and end of an Iron Chef-in-the-making. It doesn't contain the official license, but you'll recognize where the inspiration came from, which is not limited to television – Ratatouille's infamous critic is cloned and dropped into the game for boss battle fun. The, umm, obesity of America is also taken into account, with amusing customers that appreciate your restaurant's location (one guy loves it for being in between the gym and donut shop) and personal touches (another customer wants gravy on everything and tips well for it). These elements are used to mask what is essentially a new take on Cooking Mama.

From the review: "While minor issues exist with the game's controls and 3D-enabled visuals, the majority of gameplay features have been significantly improved for the handheld experience. With its low asking price and extensive amount of content, Order Up!! will easily occupy numerous hours with preparing dishes and managing restaurants. Order Up!! delivers an addictive and charming gameplay experience that should be on the menu for both beginner and experienced chefs."

Darryl Linington from ITF Gaming writes: Developed by SuperVillain Studios and published by Fun Box Media, Order Up is the latest restaurant/management simulator to grace the PlayStation 3. While Order Up was originally released on the Nintendo Wii back in 2008, we ask, does its PlayStation 3 counterpart live up to expectations… or does it simply just chargrill the those beautiful omelettes that would of tasted great, but somehow caught fire due to a lazy chef? Let’s find out!

Marcia Webb of The Married Gamers reviews Order Up!, the latest 3DS restaurant management game you are sure to enjoy. How does this game compare to some of the more popular cooking games though? Read on to find out!
