Well yeah. Games that are not best on PC are the exception, not the rule.

EA are usually pretty good on the PC side. Origin pricing is a bit of an issue, but not the quality of the 'ports'.

it was beautiful, a ton of fun to play and will be even better with tweaks, fixes, more full release modes, maps and weapons... Bring on the Star Wars nerdgasms..

The requirements for this game are insane imo. Im getting it on PS4 because friends are such but I didnt expect my PC to be so inferior after a year.

I think the requirements are fair. You have to remember this is also a current gen only title and not a cross gen title like BF4. The requirements very much reflect how demanding it is.

I think its fair and reasonable for current gen.

I can max it at 1440p on a 1st gen i7 950, 8gb ram and a gtx 780, i get around 45 - 50 fps

It's best on PC (that's powerful enough to run it right) since neither console version even hits 1080p. Lets see how smooth the most important part, the online, is though.

Well all 3 versions run on EAs servers, so it is unlikely you'll perceive a difference in the quality of the online play...

Xbox Live and PSN are both better featured than Origin though, in terms of party and chat. But then Origin is free, and various voice chat applications are free.

ea likes to use their own servers which means it will have its own set of problems that will impact all 3 platforms.

the pc version should always be the best version if the developers do their jobs properly.

May be the best version on PC , but this game will be Full of cheaters. Already experienced a few games in the beta where gamers were using auto-aim "bots" . Once other players knew what was happening, they rapidly left the match. Some may get banned, but newer auto-aim software will get around the games server security.

I must be one extremely lucky gamer, I play shooters/FPS almost exclusively on PC and can literally count on one hand the amount of times I've seen someone using an aim-bot.

Maybe you are lucky. Everyone has different experiences with online shooters. But it has happened & will continue to happen in fps shooters .

Why is "Could" used? It will be the best. 1440p and 60fps, plus I can use my preferred XB1 elite controller on PC or mouse n keyboard...can't beat that. You gotta be a fool to say otherwise.

Well Obviously....

Best in terms of multi-tiered performance due to the upgradable nature of the PC platform. But statistically the majority of PC Gamer's will be playing @1080p 60fps. Only the elitist rigs will be pushing upper tier, and those gamer's are a minority as it stands /

I don't see why Console Gaming is compared to High End PC Gaming, especially when fewer have powerful PC's. Apples & Pears /

Highly opinionated article, personally the best place for me is PS4 because that's where my mates play and I prefer pad over KB/mouse.

I obviously wouldn't push my opinion as fact, unlike some...

It's pretty obvious that with this engine DICE has geared it towards PC. It's been two years since BF4 900p/720p. You're telling me that there's no optimizations that would bring PS4 to 1080 and XB1 to 900. It feels like to me that they don't have any time for console players and put all their optimizing into PC.

I think this game will last longer on console. Not having a server browser and weak party system will cause clans to move on. The game will be fun but I do not see this having a following past a core group of fans playing 12+ months from now on PC.

I'm thinking the same, the PC is all about choice and for Multiplayer games especially big ones like this, they want to choose which server in order to reduce latency.

Also with the way ports were a while back (which has been improving since), most players avoid games with less than stellar pc ports.
