Developed by Russian code-house Mandragora Games, Skyhill whisks players to the top floor of a hotel skyscraper following the aftermath of World War III, where with flesh-eating mutants now roaming about the place, they are forced to survive a one-hundred floor descent to the exit. Self-described as a ‘click and survive game’, Skyhill combines two-dimensional procedural generated levels, combat and crafting to create an experience which while might appear unique and fresh, sadly fails to fulfil its potential."

"Skyhill is not the most impressive survival game I’ve played, but it still manages to have its charms. While the story and translation may be lackluster, the art is still charming and it manages to shove a large amount of replayability into such a small package. A successful run may take you no more than around two hours, but you’ll likely find yourself going back for another crack either with different perks or on a higher difficulty just to see how far down you can get."

Skyhill - PS4 | Review - SquareXO

SQXO: Skyhill was a game that I didn’t think I would enjoy too much as I am not the biggest fan of roguelikes. I hate having to start from scratch with little to nothing to show for my efforts. That being said, Skyhill kept me coming back for more. I love that the endgame is as clear as day. The game can be repetitive in nature, but it still is very enjoyable.
