There’s been some tumult with the physical version release of Shovel Knight. You may have noticed storefronts changing wildly lately…and that’s because a lot of decisions have been being made internally to help make this release possible. First Shovel Knight doesn't get released at all on Xbox 360, now it doesn't get a retail release on Xbox One.
What's with Microsoft's sketchy release of this game?
I love how transparent these guys are with this stuff. Even the price increase (which I heard from another source but there was no real mention for the reason) sounds alright. Im willing to pay 25€ for the amount of content they have, for the physical copy of course...
The only real bummer is that it would have been fantastic to have the soundtrack on CD too. I guess I can burn them once I have used the download flyer?
Im kinda glad that the release date has changed. Talos Princible is releasing around 13th (IIRC) and I still have to finish Tearaway Unfolded... gives me more time.
Got digital on Wii U, buying physical on 3DS to play it again it's that good.
