Yeah my guess is that there was some error with the digital game. Maybe like someone else said in the comments that it was just released by mistake and they caught it in time and had to take it down. But I imagine that would have been a quick fix.

I buy multiplayer games exclusively digitally so I can buy one copy and play on multiple xboxes, so i will give this a pass and move on to battlefront then

I think this is a bit weird. I expect that they could have put it up too early but I feel they wouldn't mind just coming out and saying "it went up too early. Our bad"

the game has been up for awhile for preorder. makes no sense to take it down now. unless some thing in the contract with sony says to.

Who knows who will outsell who when it comes to multi platform games. I wouldn't go by preorder numbers anyways, seems like to me the best numbers (at first) to go by would be the sales numbers after the holiday season.

If I had to guess, I would say since the PS4 console has out selled Xbox One console by a large number, also adding in the one month exclusivity content deal Sony now has with Activision/Treyarch, plus PS4 will probably have a highier resolution like they do every year as usual with COD. I would have to guess that PS4 will sell more copies of the game come post holiday season.

I own a PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U. So I'm not playing favorites by any means. I love all the consoles, they each have there own pros and cons. But when it comes to multi platform games, I'm usually purchasing the PS4 versions of the game. I usually buy hard copies not digital. Why?

This is my formula I use. In the case of games like Rise of The Tomb Raider, I'm going to purchase for Xbox One. It has one year of exclusive rights to the game and I don't feel like waiting a whole year when I can be playing it in November. Also Xbox One gave me a free digital copy of Tomb Raider: Definative Edition with Games With Gold. It played very well on the X1. So I'm going with X1 for the purchase of that game. When it comes to other games like BO3 for example, like I explained above, 30 day exclusivity content deal, plus the game will probably have a higher resolution on the PS4 version. When it comes to my 55 inch LED HDTV, I'll take a higher resolution.

It will also be the best selling multi platform game this holiday season, maybe the year. Yes, beating out Fallout 4. It won't be close either.

To have out sold Xbox by a large amount, you would think that they would feel comfortable enough not to do some shady things this way... Xbox is moving in a great direction.. No matter what, Xbox is dope and Microsoft is not afraid to get the job done. I've never been a PS fan even owning many consoles including the 4. I honestly believe that they don't care enough about the consumer.. they sure know how to talk a big game.

Can't even view the story. It's completely blocked. Glad I'm not getting this game. Just waiting for Uncharted N.D. Collection and Halo 5 now. Been busy playing Forza 6, Rare Replay and Toukiden: Kiwami the last few weeks.
