But after those i felt it kind of fell off. It lost its scare tactics roots and got into a more action-based approach. Whil many say RE4 was the best one, i'd have to partially disagree. Gameplay wise it was good because it just worked well. But it lost the fear that RE1 and RE2 imposed. The idea of not being prepared enough, or think jumping out and closing you in. idk maybe it is just me.

Looks very nice, I only wish they had some kind of bullet holes when you shoot the zombies.

Cant wait till this comes out. Was really hoping Left 4 Dead would come to ps3, i dont think ps3 has any Zombie games yet almost 2 years in its life cycle.

Edit Below: For some reason Siren just doesn't seem like a zombie game to me its kind of boring IMO. Im talkin more of dead rising and left 4 dead which both are not on ps3.We have to wait till 2009 just to get a good zombie game.

What happened to all the female villagers in the game?

Not too excited about RE5, I would like to play it myself though, instead of watching some doofus at the controls.

flaws I see, enemy AI may react too slow on occasions, sheva standing a foot away from her target (a flesh eating zombie), having to do the assistance jump movement to get her down instead of up, controls seem confusing, and shooting a zombie mid animation. Besides that, this seems like a solid game, as long as online co-op has no problems.

I loved RE:1,2 and 4 and I'll prepare to be burned but my fav has to go to RE:Code Veronica, it was an awesome game imo.

I dont know about anyone els but doesnt the death animations look kind of flunky? Almost like they where in RE4? Imo, wouldnt it make sense to put in rag dolls for the death animations? Since rag dolls are pretty much the trend nowadays and i think it would look better.

Am I the only one that thinks the aiming control seems to be a pain????

Looks very average and generic. Halo wars and white knight story will own this game to pieces

the aiming is my major concern with this game. it is playable but i know a lot of game overs will be the result of not being able to aim quick enough.

please bring this to the wii for aiming perfection

Good looking game, stupid control and gameplay scheme. Just look at how stiff the animation is on the characters. The enemies movement is very alive, and show good fluidity. But the main characters walk around like they got a corn stalk up their butts. I cant believe they didnt push the envelope and put in better controls. This game also doesn't look as scary as the past resident evils. I dont know, Im very unimpressed.

...that is, he helps the other character to jump across to another building for nothing but to set up a scene so he can use a sniper rifle. That entire sequence looks great but its pointless.

I hope the final game is not so scripted (but it will be). That is, the player has the choice of going the path as seen in the video or maybe both characters could head down to the bottom floor and shoot out the door.

I loved RE4 but am hoping RE5 won't be as scripted and a bit more sandbox.

I noticed a prompt to "Hook" enemies when there's one group on a staircase. I wonder if that's always an option or if it's a counter to lunges. Either way, it could definitely add nicely to the gameplay. I always hated only having the knife and kick prompts when enemies are stunned.

it's the exact same thing as 4, just with better graphics and coop.they still even have a health bar.there is no new gameplay.

PS3 version definately looks better. 360 version looks washed out probably due to compression.

Don't want to rock the boat or anyhting but i was watching the 360 footage of this on live and it seems to look a bit cleaner with better lighting... could just be the vid though.

This seems to be a really good action game. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be much of a horror title (just like RE4).

Looks almost as good as the Xbox 360 version. This may be the first game I buy for both systems.

This game looks like it's going to be wicked fun.

one of my biggest gripes about RE games.

this game is like Resident Evil 4 with better graphic. Even the movement of the enemy are the same, and even the sound!

Anybody else not thrilled with the RE4 Aiming system as I am, especially after getting used to games like Gears of War and Uncharted?

Yeah, it will make it more "action packed" than scary. But looking at this trailer, they've already passed that line. They might as well just implement the new aiming system of today's generation.

Of course, that's just me though. Feel free to disagree.

Re5 getting a remake is still...gunna be a tough one lol. I do still want that and 6 remade. Well, 6 needs a reimagining more like and I believe the current Capcom can make it into a great game.
