Mixi has released the debut trailer for its upcoming 3DS adaption of its popular smartphone game Monster Strike.
The 3DS game is a 3D RPG that follows the same characters and story as the upcoming anime. It’s due out in Japan on December 17.
The 3DS Monster Strike game, which launched in Japan this Thursday, December 17, has shipped over one million units as of December 18, publisher XFlag announced.
XFlag notes that this number includes both Japan and Asia, as well as download card and Nintendo eShop sales.
The RPG is based on the popular, free-to-play smartphone physics game with RPG elements. An anime began airing on YouTube in October.
Monster Strike for 3DS was awarded a 33 out of 40 in Famitsu.

This week's Famitsu scores include the PS4/PSV RPG Exist Archive, Star Wars Battlefront, Monster Strike, and much more.
looking forward to Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky- 33/40 is a good score
They gave a dating sim 10/10/9/8. I'm having trouble taking their reviews seriously. Exist Archive does look very interesting though. Reminds me of Valkyrie Profile but with beautiful visuals.
Exist Archive can't wait to play this on the 4. Looking another fun Sony exclusive.

Mixi has shared the final Japanese box art for the 3DS adaption of Monster Strike, which was recently confirmed for a December 17 release date in Japan. It will cost 4,500 yen (4,860 yen with tax).
