Today we’re thrilled to share long-awaited details on our release plan for HITMAN. As most of you hopefully know by now, HITMAN will be a live game experience that delivers content over time, supported by live events.
On March 11th 2016, we will release the initial launch content, which contains three locations - Paris, Sapienza and Marrakesh - featuring six campaign missions. For Contracts mode, you’ve got a combined pool of around 800 targets to craft your devious Contracts from, which means we’re expecting fantastic things.
Stealth action games from the Hitman series are no longer available for purchase on Russian Steam. When going to the game pages, the message “This product is not available in your region” appears. The changes were noticed to us by one of our users along with a screenshot.
The month of October is going to be filled with excitement as the Hitman franchise is commemorating its 25 years of being in the business.
It’s the 25th anniversary this year?
I’d have assumed it would have gotten something like a remastered trilogy of the original games or a remake of the first game. Something for a 25th celebration.

Waiting for the retail release. Ain't incouraging these game companies to give us out games bit by bit 👎
If you think about it, Call of Duty does the same thing every year. For me new maps gets me interested in the game again, both multi player and zombies. Guys are complaining about the plan/schedule, but then they will go straight out and buy Call of Duty without batting an eye.
If they do it this way. You won't be done with the game in less than a week, not like the other Hitmans before it. It keeps you interested in the game for a longer length of time. They are deffinatly on to something.
As a long time Hitman fan, I'm disappointed to see this dumb release plan. Let's all wait for the complete package to come out & not encourage more developers to go this route.
