Rainbow Six: Siege screams potential. A first-person shooter that seemingly encourages players to incorporate well thought out tactics and cooperation in order to overcome the enemy. However, the experiences GENWire had were much more disconcerting, with attacking players resigned to turning off their microphones in favour of going lone wolf, and defending teams quietly camping in a fortuitous spot in anticipation of the invading enemy.
Put simply, Rainbow Six: Siege is boring.

Operation Silent Hunt is a Metal Gear Solid series crossover season bringing a new permanent Operator, limited-time event, exclusive cosmetics, and more to Rainbow Six Siege.
Ubisoft are just mocking us at this point. They can bring us solid snake but they can't bring us sam Fisher

"Six Invitational Paris 2026 was a very different event from last year’s in Boston, but it carved its own, very French path."

really? I've been playing it non stop and having a blast. Has secured itself as a must buy. I dont see how anyone who likes the Rainbow Six feel and pacing could be disappointed. Terrorist hunt is badass.
Game must be played with you and a friend, otherwise it can get boring and you feel left out...
On Xbox took me a hour to find a match beside this is a good game, not a great rainbow six game you get what I mean.
Other than really significant issues trying to get matches going, I have had a lot of fun. I don't have any friends in the beta, but still enjoyed it. As long as your teammates have mics and/or are willing to work as a team, the game is a lot of fun. I was really fortunate to catch a certain big-box retailer having a glitch on their website a few months back, and was able to pre-order the gold-edition of Siege for $45. I'll have it day one, and can't wait to play it when it counts.
I think you all have agreed with my main point from the article. The game only succeeds when your are in a team with people with mics and willing to work together. When this occurs, the game can work well. When this doesn't occur, the game is poor.
